VE Day - 75th Anniversary Celebrations

Frolesworth comes out to celebrate 75th Anniversay of VE Day

Despite the Covid19 lock-down, the villagers of Frolesworth were determined to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.  Properties were decorated and the tables and chairs came out.  Many stood with heads bowed in respect of the two minute silence at 11 a.m. and the cakes, sandwiches and beverages were in abundance during the afternoon.   At 9 p.m. villagers lined the street to listen to HRH Queen Elizabeth II and to sing along with Vera Lynn,  many celebrations continuing until  late.  All whilst observing social distancing.  Well done Frolesworth.  A few photographs are displayed in a video  below.
