PHOTOGRAPH COMPETITION GALLERY IS NOW LIVE IN THE COMMUNITY SECTION!

RULES AND INFORMATION
THIS COMPETITION IS FOR FROLESWORTH VILLAGERS ONLY

Competition will run throughout June and July depending on entries received, it may go on into August so you have plenty of time.  We will give a couple of weeks notice before announcing the closing date.  Photos can be of anywhere in Leicestershire or better still of the local area and can be of anything that catches your eye.
I’ve put 4 photographs in the Gallery to give you an idea (they won’t be included in the competition). but ideally they need to be around 640 x 480 pixels for landscape or 480 x 640 pixels for portrait which are around 95kb in size; these fit nicely on the Gallery page.  But send them in and I’ll try to get them on there somehow.

When you email your photograph, give the photograph a Title, it’s Location and your Full Name (and age if under 20) and email to me (see email below).
There will be a unique prize for the overall winner and there will be a separate prize for the winner of the under 20 years of age category and I’m hoping to find someway for the villagers themselves to vote on the winning photographs.  More to follow on that!

Calling On all you Amateur Village Photographers!
Whilst we are in lock-down, many of us are taking our permitted exercise walking around our local area and we are asking you to snap away with your phones to capture the beauty that surrounds us as you go. Photos can be of anything that catches your eye; country scenes, plants, blooms, trees, gardens, pets, sunrise, sunsets, birds, insects are just a few ideas.
And we are inviting you to send them in to us for inclusion in our Village Photograph Competition; not only will we all benefit from sharing the beauty surrounding us but the lucky winner will receive a very unique prize. Anyone can enter but please remember to add your full name and your age (if under 20.)

All photographic entries will appear on our website: frolesworthvillage.org
Email to: joy.birch@btinternet.com

Snap away folks.
